Tyler Cain 

Hometown:  Petoskey, MI 

Tyler started skating by playing hockey at the age of 5. When Tyler was 15 he decided to hang up his hockey skates and put on speedskates. For the first couple of seasons Tyler skated both long and short track to get a feel for both disciplines. This past year, after graduation Tyler decided to move to Milwaukee, WI to train full time in long track.

2012:
    Junior B Short Track Michigan State Championship -   1st       
    Junior B Long Track Michigan State Championship - 1st

    Junior B Short Track Michigan State Championship - 2nd

    Junior Long Track Championships - 3rd in All Around, 3rd in 500m, 5th in 1,000m 1,500m and 5,000m

    AmCup Racing Series -(Juniors) 1st in 500m and 3,000m, 2nd  in 1,000m, 5th in  500m

Tyler currently holds 4 Michigan State Records in the Men's  Junior A division: 500m, 750m, 1,000m, and 1,500mTyler also holds the fastest times for the State of Michigan for  all ages both men and women in the 500m, 750m, and 1,000m
